Implementation

The implementation of the running technical solution generally carried out by the customer. The steps are as follows:

• the installation of the software on a Windows or UNIX Platform,

• the configuration of the OSIS communication modules for the technical networking with internal IT applications and for the communication with external partner via EDI. For each individual case an partner is configured in the communication setup, this determines the communication protocol, the method of receiving (passive) or collecting (active) messages and for sending messages, periodically or triggered by an event, the evaluation and routing of status messages (i.e. processing error, communication error, collect-job started, data received, data sent etc.),

• the carrying out of system tests for the communication at the technical level,

• the carrying out of integration tests with regard to the technical content and technology,

• the supervision of the change over to production.

The result of this project phase is the running system solution.
