Training

Training with the OSIS technology is offered in the form of basis training, special training and workshops.

The basis training sessions are carried out using pre-prepared example solutions where the participants have to carry out simple configurations. The following courses offers are available:

• A 2 - 3 day basis training course for the configuration of OSIS with the themes
  • Architecture and the working of OSIS,
  • Setting up an integration solution in the "OSIS Jobs",
  • Definition of formats and working parameters for the most important OSIS application modules and OSIS EDI modules,
  • Testing of the technical solution,
   
• A one-day basis training course for the Administration of OSIS with the themes
  • Architecture, directory structure, processes in the OSIS- System,
  • Administration of the OSIS communication modules,
  • Monitoring of the OSIS activities and the log books,

The exact content of the basis training depends upon the previous knowledge and job profile of the participants.
Themes for special training to solve complex tasks are for example

• The use of EDIFACT, conversion to/from the inhouse format,
• The use of XML,
• The use of hierarchy in relational Formats and vice versa (Database connection)
• SAP R/3 connection, setting up of the IDoc / RFC interface,
• UNIX- Know-how with regard to the OSIS System.

The content of the special training depends upon the participants´ previous knowledge of OSIS and the special themes related to OSIS.

Additional to the training courses workshops are offered, here topics are covered by special request from the customer. This is especially useful for companies that wish to configure out EDI and EAI projects with their own staff.
