The Use of OSIS in Commissioning Warehouses

OSIS is the professional data exchange manager for the integration of the data flow of your warehouse, between the internal IT systems as well as between these internal IT systems and your partners´ systems. In this way OSIS transfers the data, for example between the main merchandise management system of your customer and your warehouse management system as well as between the warehouse management system and the NCTS (New Computerized Transit System) for the Customs.

For the external message exchange, ready prepared solutions are available with the relevant EDIFACT message types (i.e. DESADV, INVRPT, IFTSTA etc.) or in the case of integration with the customer´s SAP merchandise management system, with the relevant IDOC message types (i.e. MATMAS, WMCATO, WMMBID, WMTORD, ZFMBID etc.). The communication with Customs is also carried out using EDIFACT messages in combination with a NCTS certified external software.

Prepared OSIS interface solutions also exist for certain warehouse management systems. However OSIS can be individually configured with relatively low costs and in short time periods to create interfaces for any internal or external systems for which pre-prepared solutions don´t already exist.
