The Use of OSIS with Monetary Transaction Systems

In Germany the EDIFACT format has been established since 1999 as the third standard form of payment after the (DTA) and S.W.I.F.T.-Format.

The advantages of a faster and safer processing of monetary transactions via the EDIFACT format are thus available.

The following functions, among others, are covered:

• Receipt and processing of multiple payment orders, direct debits, multiple transactions between banks etc.
• Creation and transmission of multiple credit notes, debit notes, bank statements, multiple payment orders between banks etc.

The OSIS monetary transaction system is a special configuration of the Open System Integration Server OSIS. Prepared EDIFACT message types are for example CREEXT, CREMUL, DEBADV, DEBMUL, DIRDEB, FINPAY, FINSTA, PAYEXT, PAYMUL, etc.. Additionally every individual interface internally and externally can be realised by configuring OSIS with relatively little effort.
