OSIS-Monitor

The OSIS Monitor is an additional optional product in the scope of the OSIS-System architecture.
The monitor signals the status of the OSIS processes to the system administrator via a traffic light system and above all enables the operator the follow the message conversion and transmission at any point in time.
The Client-Server-architecture, implemented via JAVA, enables access to the OSIS Server log books on the UNIX- or Windows-Workstations.
Examples for the monitor functions are:

• Online observation of the system status and all the OSIS processes; active signalling of the status via a traffic light warning system,
• Structured access to the OSIS log books and the system chain of events, the message processing and the communication chain of events,
• Sort and filter possibilities via time, communication partners and protocols,
• Search function via the OSIS-Archive,
• Detail view of the single processing events from receiving to sending the mes-sages.

System requirements are as follows:

• UNIX: JAVA-run time system at least Version 1.4,
• Windows (NT, 2000, XP, 2003); JAVA 1.4,
• For the Client-Server operation the server must have the JAVA-rmiregistry avail-able,
• TCP/ IP-network between Clients and Server.
