OSIS allows the simple data exchange with SQL databases enabling the reading of data from the database, the writing of data into the database and the possibility of starting database scripts or procedures. To ensure secure operations with the database OSIS uses transaction oriented message processing and has the ability repeat the operation in the case of errors.

 

With OSIS the database integration can either be carried out via JDBC or via specific client tools from the database manufacturers,  SYBASE, MS SQL Server, ORACLE, INGRES, ADABAS and DB2.
