OSIS offers the quality control for all incoming data – with modules to check the syntax and structure of the data, it also offers the possibility to set individually defined rules to check the business logic. In this way OSIS helps to avoid breaks in the business processes due to incorrect incoming data. For detailed analysis of the errors a protocol is generated, this can also be sent automatically back to the sender. 

 

Additionally the EDI Monitor can be used, a separate tool in the OSIS system that displays the incoming messages – for example for the internal departments to carry out quality checks manually. In the event that the data does not comply with the syntax/semantic or the business logic rules an error protocol is displayed. Once the protocol has been read the data processing in OSIS can be manually re-started.
